To preserve the shine of the gold or silver plating, wash it occasionally with warm water and neutral soap, rinse well, and dry with a soft, clean cloth.

Although you can get them wet and wear them with perfumes or creams, frequent use may slightly dull the finish over time.
Store each piece separately in its case or pouch to prevent scratching.
